Educational Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

 

1. GPA obtained in S.S.C and H.S.C must have at least a total of 8.50 and must not be below 4.00 in any examination.

2. GPA must be minimum 3.50 in Biology in HSC.

 

Equivalence certificate of mark sheets of A and O level national and international Students should be obtained from the office of the Director General of Health Services, (Directorate General Medical Education) Mohakhali, Dhaka, and must be submitted with the application form.

 

Selection for admission is controlled by the D.G Health, Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Criteria for Admission of Foreign Students in the MBBS Courses in the Non-Government Medical College in Bangladesh for 2025-2026 academic year under self-finance scheme:

A) Academic Records:

Must have passed qualifying examination of ‘O’ and ‘A’ level or equivalent examination with science background.
‘O’ level or equivalent examination passed not before 2022.
‘A’ level or equivalent examination passed in the year of 2024 or 2025.
‘A’ level or equivalent exam must be completed within 3 years of ‘O’ level or equivalent exam.
The applicants must have at least aggregated GPA 7.0 (seven) in ‘O’ level/equivalent and ‘A’ level/ equivalent exam of individual GPA 5 (Five) scale. The applicants also must have grade point (GP) 3.50 in Biology in ‘A’ level/ 12 class completion equivalent examination. However, a GPA score of less than 3.50 points in any single exam will not be considered.

 

B) For calculating GPA against the percentage of marks obtained in ‘O’ level or other equivalent exam only top 5 subjects are considered.

C) For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in ‘A’ level or equivalent exam, only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are considered.

D) Application Form: Duly filled online application forms in specific template and upload the stated relevant documents from November 11, 2025 to January 15, 2026.

All certificates must be duly attested by the competent authority, i.e. Education and the Foreign Ministries of the respective countries.
Successful applicants have to produce all academic certificates, admit cards and mark-sheets/ transcripts in original at the time of their admission.

E) Tuition Fees: Information regarding tuition fees charged by Non-Government Medical Colleges/ Dental Colleges/Units can be obtained directly from the colleges concerned.

 

F) Each applicant must send USS 100.00 (One hundred) as non-refundable equivalence fee by Telegraphic Transfer (T. T)/SWIFT Code through
